The book of Philippians is a source of encouragement from the first to the last word. The amazing thing about it is that when the Apostle Paul wrote the epistle he was a Roman prisoner. Paul rejoiced in a greater prisoner status, as a prisoner for the Lord. His letter of encouragement under such a distressing circumstance is a reminder to us all that our surroundings or circumstance should not define us but we can certainly make the most out of them. Paul’s words in the fourth chapter and the fourth verse jump out at us all to “REJOICE IN THE LORD ALWAYS, AGAIN I WILL SAY REJOICE!”
