The difference between success and failure can be measured by how often a person can complete what is before them. Parenting in a society that does not condone discipline on the front side of life but believes in punishment on the backside through incarceration, indebtedness, or emotional distress as an adult, is one of those difficult routes that we must walk to prepare future generations for success. It is not always the easiest route that is taken but it is the one that comes to completion that brings satisfaction. Having a strong biblical foundation for training lays the groundwork for success by the development of good habits that will lead to a complete and fulfilled life. It is time to stand for something that will be a guide for good parenting. Why not stand with God, the Father, who has shown us the kind of love that endures.
