When the weight of everyday living seems to bear down upon you in such a way that you begin to feel a buckling in your spirit, what do you do? Jesus felt this way while praying in the garden and what He did is an answer for all of us. He wanted the Father’s Will to be done rather than what His human form wanted. Even as He was carrying the cross to Calvary, His human form struggled but His Spirit was strong. Strong enough to take the weight of all of our sins and give us hope from generation to generation. So, let each of us remember how Jesus set aside what His flesh wanted to do and did what the Father intended for Him to do: Meet the need of others.
